A museum where you can learn about Kamaboko and bamboo wheels, famous places in Japan and how to make them.I went to the last public holiday on the last three consecutive holidays, but there are about seven separate parking lots around the area, but almost all are full and park my car around 4 places. did.The first floor sells souvenir goods other than pastes in addition to the manufacturing experience. The second floor is a display of art using kamaboko boards, and the third floor is a museum of paste.Note that no kamaboko or bamboo rings are sold here. You can buy it at the main store next door or at the Kamabokosato village next to it.

Kamabo and Chikuwa's handmade experience (reservation) is quite difficult and interesting. Adults can also enjoy it. I've been there several times, but this time it was the cleanest! There is kamaboko board art on the 2nd floor.

Many tastings are attractive! I use a little drinking space. High-grade kamaboko and a full cup. It is the best on the way back from Hakone

I had a kamaboko experience. It can be enjoyed by children and adults. You can make kamabo and bamboo rings. It takes more than 2 hours from experience to steaming, cooling and taking over. You can eat bamboo rings freshly baked. You need to experience it and pick it up the next day or adjust the time. When you experience it, you will feel Kamaboko more familiar.I had a kamaboko experience. It can be enjoyed by children and adults. You can make kamabo and bamboo rings. It takes more than 2 hours from experience to steaming, cooling and taking over. I arrived before noon and gave up because I had been waiting for more than two hours for the experience of making Kamaboko and the experience of cheese hatk on the second floor. The souvenir shop next door sells not only kamaboko but also dried fish and confectionery. Visitors of the sightseeing bus can eat sake and kamaboko at the kamaboko bar and eat other delicious oden.

I asked Odawara that Kamabokoya is famous. The building of the Kamaboko Museum was an experience facility on the first floor and an exhibition facility on the second and third floors. On Wednesday, you can experience Chikuwa. I really enjoyed the experience with the tools. Many customers came to the store. There are also kamaboko tastings, so it is easy to buy. There are a lot of things other than kamaboko, so I think it's very good to buy souvenirs.

They provide generous amount of free sample kamaboko (fish cakes) to try. There's also a small museum where you can learn about the history of kamaboko making. Entry is free but you must pay to do kamaboko making experience.

I did not realize how much history there is for this product and I have a deeper appreciation for it seeing how much they put into sustainable operations, the local area and how much activities there are for both kids and adults to do here. There were walk through exhibits, demonstrations and hands on classes as well a full view of where they make their products.

Kamaboko is a fish-paste loaf. Suzuhiro exhibits old utensils for Kamaboko. You can join a workshop to cook Kamaboko here. Noted on my wonder-tips site.

Directly connected to Hakone Tozan Railway Kazamatsuri Station. Even in Hakone Ekiden, it is reflected on TV every year. Mr. Suzuhiro's kamaboko is very delicious, so I took part in a kamaboko / chikuwa handmade experience (approximately 50 minutes, 1500 yen per person excluding tax). You can apply on the day, but there is also a WEB reservation. Chikuwa was freshly baked after the classroom, but it was savory and sweet and delicious. Kamaboko seemed to be easy to understand, and I realized that in order for adults to adjust to that shape, they actually needed skilled skills.

The place to go if you love kamaboko, which I don't. Trains are infrequent, but it isn't unwalkable from Odawara. Is that a word? It is now. You can get Hakone beer here, which is nice.

I booked a fried pot experience in the morning. The kamaboko experience is full and abandoned. It is also attractive that you can experience it in as little as 30 minutes.Because you can experience from a small child, there are many families and you can enjoy it.Because there was explanation of the staff, we could confirm on monitor clearly.Make your own mashed soybeans, carrots, corn, sakura shrimp, and black sesame.Mold, put on bamboo skin, skewer and fry.I got water from a plastic bottle and had freshly fried food in a nearby chair.

Parents and children can make and eat kamaboko together and learn about kamaboko. I think that you can stop by when you come nearby because the facilities are cleaned and children can enjoy it. Parking was free.

I went to a Kamaboko handmade experience class in Sakahiro's Kamaboko village in Odawara. You can apply and participate online. You can make kamabo and bamboo rings yourself and eat them on the spot. The freshly baked bamboo wheel is very delicious and you can have a good time.Kamaboko is ready after 70 minutes.Although it was settled on the day, there were various special treatments, and the discount was made with a JAF card.

Questions & Answers

It was a difficult and fun experience. It is a good experience

I agree. We recommend booking if possible. The reason is that you can experience it at your desired time. The experience of making Kamaboko and Takewa is especially slow because it takes a long time to bake, so the reception time is near closing after baking. Then, for the day's reservation, the reception desk is too busy to answer the phone at all. If it is absolutely the same day reservation, it is best to go to the store and make a reservation directly. The experience itself is fun ?

Experience time is 50 minutes. It's okay if you can do it because you have to wear a hat and an apron. The home page of the museum says that the child is 3 years old, but there are individual differences...

A 10-month-old kid might be a bit unreasonable

Even if there is no group, it is crowded. When the group comes, it is already .... What I personally like is kamaboko bar.

It's close, but please be careful when crossing the road.
